We fabricate them, and we attach the caveats every time: a unilateral partial denture without cross-arch support asks a lot of a small appliance, retention has to be planned conservatively, and patient selection plus your clinical judgment decide whether the convenience is safe in the individual mouth over years, not just at the seat appointment. Where the risk calculus tips, a flipper, a bonded solution, or a cross-arch design serves better, and we will say which one we would build.
