Use well-lit, in-focus photos with a shade tab held next to the prepared and adjacent teeth, in the same plane and light. Include a straight-on retracted view plus a couple of angles, and cross-polarized images if your setup supports them. For translucent materials, send the stump shade too. Ask us for our shade-photo checklist and we will walk your team through it.
Do you offer in-person shade appointments?
Yes. For high-esthetic cases you can book an in-person shade appointment with our ceramists at our Rosemead, California lab. When a visit is not practical, calibrated photos and a clear prescription let us match remotely with the same discipline.
Which shade guides do you use?
Note the target in whichever common guide your practice uses, such as VITA Classical or VITA 3D-Master, and our ceramists work to it. A photo with the shade tab in frame lets us confirm value and hue against the guide you referenced.
Can you match a single central incisor?
Yes, and it is the most demanding match in dentistry, which is exactly where our process earns its keep.
